Comic Revolution

Comics are a great way to turn reluctant readers into readers.

Interestingly, one European country was from the start more favourable to balloons, namely Great Britain. Because it and the USA shared the same language, it was certainly less complicated to publish American comics there. Interesting videos; those seem to give more information than the Joe Kubert videos that you get with the course books that his school sends out to you, cool stuff. The only thing with that is I am trying to tackle all three steps at once.

Issue #12 has been hailed all over as one of the best in the series with Ego the Living Planet making a move on Mother Earth, putting all life on the planet in jeopardy. Issue #8 , shipping this week, concludes the stories of Angel’s friends and family during their first night in hell.

Jimbo was invented in 1974 at college and published first in SLASH, an L.A punk music tabloid. Art Spiegelman and Francoise Mouly noticed my work in SLASH and invited me do a comic for their oversized cartoon magazine, RAW. Jim works part-time at the comic book store I work at; he mostly does stuff in the back, like moving boxes and pushing brooms. He's a real clever guy, and I thought his perspectives would be entertaining ones to share on-line.

Again, thank you, and I hope everyone has a great weekend! Again, read the stories critically. Ask yourself if there are facets of this person that haven’t been fully explored, or new situations in which you could re-examine familiar facets. Again, I don't know why he is so hell bent on crushing us--it's not as if there is any money in comics.
